Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP OData Consultant with a solid background in SAP HANA, CDS views, and service development. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in building and exposing OData services, with strong knowledge of both SEGW and RAP frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Develop and expose OData services using CDS views on SAP HANA. Build custom CDS views and integrate them with OData for UI consumption. Design and implement OData services using RAP (Restful ABAP Programming) and SEGW frameworks. Perform OData service registration, testing, and debugging using browser-based tools and SAP Gateway. Handle media management through OData (e.g., file/image uploads/downloads). Implement complex OData features like $batch, $expand, deep insert/update, filters, and pagination. Work collaboratively with frontend and functional teams to deliver complete solutions. Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 47 years of hands-on experience in SAP OData service development. Strong understanding of CDS view creation and exposure via OData. Experience with both RAP model and SEGW-based OData development. Proficiency in concepts like deep entity modeling, associations, and OData versioning. Understanding of $metadata, query options, and performance tuning in OData. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve service-related issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
