SAP MDG

The Functional Analyst SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) is responsible for identifying and documenting the business needs of clients and stakeholders, with a focus on the area of MDG Finance. This hands-on role involves working with a portfolio of SAP Finance & Tax applications, gathering business requirements, and delivering both large and small projects and enhancements in the Finance ERP portfolio. You will work closely with IT Managers and the Business to ensure that new requirements are understood and captured. Your responsibilities include driving/participating in requirements gathering workshops, assessing and modeling business processes, data flows, and technology to identify opportunities for improvement, and translating business requirements into solutions. You will create clear documentation to communicate requirements, ensure traceability of requirements, and interact with software engineers, designers, and developers to understand software limitations and deliver system and database design elements. In addition, you will create acceptance criteria for test scenarios, define and maintain standards, methodologies, tools, and knowledge repositories, and contribute to functional excellence in terms of standards, methods, and tools. You will be accountable for driving continuous improvement, life-cycle/portfolio management, and stable operations in all IT applications that underpin business-critical processes. Special Challenges: - Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, rapidly changing environment - Strong engagement skills, working with senior leaders on a regular basis - Understanding of integration of MDG-Finance with S/4 systems, Central Finance, S/4 Group Reporting Skills & Requirements: - Minimum of 6-8+ years of proven project experience in the Area of S/4 FI & MDG-Finance - Expertise in areas such as S/4 FI, General Ledger, Master Data Setup, configuration of rule-based workflow, understanding of Accounting Master data, Controlling Master data, Consolidation master data - Good understanding of Data Model Enhancement, Data Replication Framework (DRF), Business Rules Framework (BRFplus) - Understanding of IT project management and project delivery methodology, including agile - Understanding of IT security and compliance - Excellent written and spoken English communication skills - Ability to prioritize and multi-task,
