Role Overview

SAP LeanIX Consultant

Key Responsibilities

LeanIX Implementation & Configuration

• Set up and configure LeanIX environments (Production & Sandbox).
• Define meta-model, lifecycle stages, Fact Sheets, and governance framework.
• Develop custom dashboards, role-based access controls, and automation templates.
• Integrate LeanIX with CMDB, Active Directory, and other enterprise systems.

Enterprise Architecture & Business Capability Mapping

• Define capability models aligned with business strategy.
• Map applications, IT components, and processes to capabilities.
• Create heatmaps, maturity dashboards, and portfolio insights.

Application Portfolio & Technology Management

• Assess application landscape and lead rationalization workshops.
• Define lifecycle stages, health scores, and invest/retain/retire/replace decisions.
• Capture technology components and manage obsolescence risks via dashboards.

Integration with SAP Programs

• Align Business Process Master List (BPML) with LeanIX capabilities.
• Map ECC to S/4HANA target architecture for governance oversight.
• Integrate with SAP Signavio for process-to-application mapping.
• Establish traceability with SAP Cloud ALM for project lifecycle tracking.

Change Management & Enablement

• Conduct training sessions for architects, process owners, and IT teams.
• Create SOPs, onboarding plans, and LeanIX Champion enablement material.
• Define governance models, RACI frameworks, and adoption roadmaps.

Reporting & Value Realization

• Develop executive dashboards for CIOs and governance boards.
• Track KPIs, provide rationalization reports, and enable continuous improvement.
• Deliver handover documentation, governance handbook, and post-go-live support.

Deliverables

• Configured LeanIX Production & Sandbox environments.
• Business capability maps, application portfolio heatmaps, and rationalization reports.
• Integrated architecture view with

  SAP S/4HANA, SAP Signavio, and SAP Cloud ALM

• Executive dashboards, SOPs, and user training documentation.
• Post-go-live hypercare support (minimum 6 weeks).

Candidate Expectations

• Proven experience in

  LeanIX implementation

  within SAP landscapes.
• Strong knowledge of

  SAP S/4HANA transformation, SAP Signavio, and SAP Cloud ALM

  .
• Expertise in

  enterprise capability modeling, portfolio management, and EA governance

  .
• Skilled in agile delivery with iterative demos and value-driven outcomes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
