Job Description

SAP Industry Architect Energy & Utilities

Location: Mumbai & Bengaluru, Pune

Experience: 12 -15 Years

Role Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven SAP Industry Architect with deep domain expertise in Energy & Utilities to lead solution design and delivery across SAP platforms. This role requires strong technical knowledge, industry-specific process understanding, and team leadership to support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement SAP solutions tailored to utilities operations (generation, transmission, distribution, and retail).
Lead architecture for SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP IS-U, and SAP EAM.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align technology with operational goals.
Manage a team of solution architects and consultants, ensuring delivery excellence.
Support pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal development for utility clients.
Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and governance.

Required Skills

SAP Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP IS-U, SAP BTP, and SAP EAM.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of utility operations including generation, transmission, distribution, and retail.
Process Expertise: Familiarity with meter-to-cash, asset lifecycle management, workforce management, and outage handling.
Architecture & Integration: Proficiency in designing scalable SAP solutions and integrating with third-party systems using SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh.
Cloud & Mobility: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and mobile-enabled SAP solutions.
Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead SAP implementation and transformation projects in the utilities domain.
Team Management: Experience managing solution architects and consultants, with a focus on delivery excellence.
Communication: Strong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
Methodologies: Exposure to Agile/SAFe delivery models and architecture governance frameworks.
