SAP IBP Demand Lead

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for demand management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand forecasts with business goals.
• Conduct regular demand planning meetings to review and adjust forecasts.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts.
• Utilize SAP IBP tools to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the demand planning process.
• Implement and maintain industry best practices in demand planning.
• Design and execute comprehensive demand planning strategies.
• Train and mentor junior team members on demand planning methodologies and SAP IBP usage.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement in forecasting and demand management.
• Manage communications with stakeholders regarding assumptions, updates, and changes to demand plans.
• Facilitate scenario planning to evaluate potential impacts of business changes.
• Support development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for demand planning.
• Work closely with supply chain teams to maintain balanced inventory levels.
• Participate in regular senior management reviews to present demand forecasting results and insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in demand planning or a closely related function.
• Strong expertise in SAP IBP and demand forecasting processes.
• Proven leadership in demand planning initiatives and SAP IBP implementations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts, best practices, and change management.
• Experience in fast-paced consulting environments is an advantage.
