Description
As a SAP FICO - Functional Consultant at EY, you will be a part of the GDS Tax Technology team whose mission is to develop, implement, and integrate technology solutions that serve clients and engagement teams efficiently. You will collaborate closely with partners, clients, and tax technical subject matter experts to enhance value-add, improve efficiencies, and provide market-leading tools supporting Tax. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead functional requirement workshops with Client/EY teams to create detailed business requirement specifications and user stories. - Manage requirement scope changes and traceability through documentation like MOMs, User stories, and Requirement specs. - Design and integrate core financial modules in S/4HANA such as GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO. - Create Financial Statement versions, General Ledger hierarchies, and understand SD & MM modules. - Work as a bridge between client business team and technical team during the build phase. - Manage end-to-end SAP FICO project lifecycles and identify opportunities for business process improvement. - Create Functional/User acceptance test cases, perform functional testing and document test reports. - Develop detailed functional specifications and design documents for SAP FICO solutions. - Deliver end user training and ensure a smooth transition to the client. **Qualifications & Experience:** - CA/CMA with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience. - Minimum 2 to 4 full cycle implementation experience for financial transformation projects. - Strong functional knowledge on SAP FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, CO-OM, CO-PA. - Experience with SAP Fiori apps and real-time reporting. - Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. **Functional and Technical skillsets:** - Tax domain knowledge on areas like Indirect tax, With-holding Tax, International Tax, etc. - Financial Planning, Analysis modelling, and knowledge on CO-PA & Product Costing. - Experience with Business intelligence tools would be preferred. **Soft skills:** - Problem Solving, Analytical Skillset, Decision making, and Communication Skillset. - Personal strength in being systematic, meticulous, and well organized. - Social skillset in collaborating with cross-functional virtual teams and adapting to changing environments.
