SAP Functional Consultant - PP/QM Module

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated SAP Functional Consultant with expertise in both the PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) modules to join our team.

You will play a key role in optimizing our production processes and ensuring product quality through effective configuration, customization, and utilization of these integrated modules.

You will work closely with production planners, quality control personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless PP/QM implementation and ongoing support.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand current business processes for production planning, scheduling, material management, and quality control.
• Configure and customize the PP module to optimize production planning, material requirements planning (MRP), production orders, and shop floor control processes.
• Configure and customize the QM module to define quality inspection plans, manage defects and non-conformances, and ensure product quality throughout the production lifecycle.
• Ensure effective integration between PP and QM modules for seamless data flow between production planning and quality control activities.
• Develop and implement reports and analyses to monitor production performance, identify quality trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Provide ongoing support and training to production personnel and quality control teams on PP/QM functionalities. Participate in PP/QM-related project teams for implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within production and quality management using PP/QM functionalities. Collaborate with ABAP developers to create custom solutions when standard functionalities fall short.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the PP and QM modules, including new features, functionalities, and industry best practices. Document configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer. Qualifications: Proven experience as an SA
