Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer with strong frontend

development skills and hands-on experience building custom UI5 applications, extending

standard Fiori apps, and integrating with OData services. The ideal candidate should have

solid knowledge of SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, and SAP Fiori design principles, along with

good understanding of S/4HANA, CDS Views, and OData services.

Key Responsibilities

Fiori / UI5 Development

• Develop custom SAPUI5 applications using HTML5, JavaScript, XML views, and

MVC framework.

• Extend and enhance standard SAP Fiori apps using in-app extensibility and UI

adaptation tools.

• Build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly UIs aligned with SAP Fiori design

guidelines.

• Integrate UI5 applications with backend OData services (v2/v4).

OData & Backend Integration

• Work closely with ABAP/RAP developers to define and consume OData services.

• Troubleshoot OData service issues and optimize performance.

• Understand CDS Views, annotations, and S/4HANA data models.

Fiori Launchpad & Deployment

• Configure and manage tiles, catalogs, groups, roles, and authorizations in Fiori

Launchpad.

• Deploy UI5 applications on SAP BTP or S/4HANA systems.

• Maintain version control, transports, and release management.

Collaboration & Support

• Work with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into UI

specifications.

• Provide production support, bug fixing, and enhancements for UI5/Fiori applications.

• Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and test cases.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in SAP Fiori / UI5 development.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of:

• SAPUI5 framework

• JavaScript / ES6

• HTML5, CSS3

• XML views, Fragment, Routing

• MVC architecture

• Deep understanding of Fiori design principles and UX guidelines.

• Experience consuming and integrating OData v2/v4 services.

• Experience with Fiori Launchpad configuration.

• Understanding of CDS Views, annotations, and S/4HANA integration.

• Familiarity with Git, WebIDE, BAS (Business Application Studio).

• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP BTP – Fiori / UI5 development.

• Knowledge of SAP RAP-based apps.

• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, or modern JS frameworks.

• SAP Fiori/UI5 certification.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
