Key responsibilities

• Design and development:

  Create and customize SAP Fiori applications using frameworks like SAPUI5, ensuring they are user-friendly and align with Fiori design guidelines.

• Technical implementation:

  Use technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to build front-end applications and OData services to connect them to backend SAP systems.

• Integration:

  Ensure seamless integration of Fiori applications with existing SAP modules and systems.

• Troubleshooting and testing:

  Debug and resolve issues in both standard and custom Fiori applications, and perform unit testing to ensure quality.

• Collaboration:

  Work with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Optimization:

  Enhance existing Fiori applications and optimize performance for a better user experience.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with backend development, including ABAP, is often required, especially for full-stack roles.
• Experience with the SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration and role-based access.
• Understanding of the Fiori app lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
