Job Description

As the Architect for SAP EWM within our organization, you will be responsible for the overall technical architecture and design related to SAP S/4 HANA EWM and its integration with ERP, TMS, and other software systems. Collaborating with stakeholders at various technical levels, you will play a pivotal role as a thought leader and change agent, thriving in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to leverage your technical architecture, analytical, and leadership skills to develop innovative solutions by thinking outside the box. You will interact with internal stakeholders, document major processes and development milestones, and ensure continuous improvement in software delivery practices and principles. Key Responsibilities: - Define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and industry requirements - Analyze business and user needs throughout the development life cycle - Modify, maintain, and update complex ERP configurations and program routines - Educate others on workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modules - Define, test, train, implement, and support functional areas within the EWM System - Monitor developers in software development methods and processes - Manage project plan, scope, risk, and resources - Act as a team leader for project teams - Travel periodically to visit Distribution centers and plants to collaborate with teams - Ensure solutions align with the long-term IT strategy - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the organization - Handle multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization - Utilize tools such as Azure Dev Ops, MS Project, and Agile methodology - Solve highly complex problems within the team - Demonstrate strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills - Adapt quickly to changes in timelines and sequences - Implement a minimum of 3-4 EWM implementations across various industry sectors - Execute a minimum of 2-3 Labor Management implementations with hands-on experience in configuring LM areas Preferred Knowledge and Experience: - Strong understanding of Labor Engineering Standards - Expertise in conditions/formulas for calculating travel distance using Fixed values, XYZ coordinates, velocities, etc. - Knowledge of Direct and Indirect labor, Labor Demand Planning, and Shift Management - Experience in standard processes using RF in Inbound, Outbound, and Internal Movements within EWM - Proficiency in handling custom warehouse processes using Labor Management - Familiarity with LOSC, POSC, warehouse process types, warehouse order, and warehouse tasks - Good understanding of standard Labor Management reports Your ability to adapt, lead project teams, and communicate effectively with internal and external partners will be crucial in ensuring the success of our projects.
