We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting PPDS functionalities in S/4HANA or APO environments. The consultant will be responsible for delivering planning solutions aligned with industry best practices to meet client requirements. Key Responsibilities : - End-to-end implementation and support of SAP PPDS module. - Configure and maintain planning strategies, heuristics, and optimization techniques. - Define and manage master data including PDS (Product Data Structure), resources, and planning versions. - Integrate PPDS with ECC/S/4HANA and manage CIF (Core Interface) for data transfer. - Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to gather requirements and provide planning solutions. - Handle detailed scheduling, planning board configuration, and optimizer setup. - Develop functional specifications for custom developments and work with technical teams. - Conduct system testing, cutover planning, go-live support, and hypercare activities. - Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing production support. Required Skills : - 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP PPDS (on S/4HANA or APO). - Strong expertise in PPDS functionalities like: - Heuristics and Optimizer. - Detailed Scheduling Planning Board. - PDS/Resource/Planning Versions. - CIF integration with ECC/S4. - Excellent understanding of supply chain and manufacturing planning processes. - Experience in at least 2 full life-cycle implementations in SAP PPDS. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience in SAP IBP or APO SNP. - Understanding of MTS/MTO production strategies. - Knowledge of integration with MM, SD, QM, and PM. - Familiarity with Agile or SAFe project delivery models. - SAP Certification in PP/DS or S/4HANA Manufacturing (preferred).
