SAP Business Object data service

As an experienced SAP Material Master specialist with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Creating, maintaining, and validating material master data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Understanding and working with industry-specific material types, units of measure, valuation classes, and procurement types. - Managing material lifecycle processes including creation, change, extension, obsolescence, and deletion. - Defining data quality rules, documenting them, and enforcing them to ensure data integrity. - Proficient in data profiling, cleansing, and standardization techniques to maintain high-quality data. - Conducting root cause analysis of data issues and providing recommendations for remediation. - Working knowledge of SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for ETL, transformation, and data quality operations. - Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SQL or reporting tools for data analysis. - Strong understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit procedures related to material master data. - Collaborating with BODS developers to provide functional input in mapping rules, logic, and validation. - Hands-on experience with SAP LSMW for recording, field mapping, conversion rules, and batch input methods. - Knowledge of data load processes and best practices for data migration within SAP systems. - Expertise in data validation techniques including pre-load and post-load checks, reconciliation, and exception reporting. - Ability to interpret and analyze SAP data using SE16N, SQVI, and custom reports. - Documenting data standards, data definitions, and quality rules to maintain data consistency. - Technical skills in exploring, analyzing, profiling, and manipulating data sets through Excel, Power BI, SAP IS, Tableau, etc. Please note that the company values your expertise in SAP Material Master and offers a challenging environment where you can contribute significantly to data quality and integrity.,
