SAP BTP Developer/ABAP Developer

As a SAP BTP Developer/ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Your role will involve leveraging expertise in SAP BTP services, cloud application development, and automation of build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will integrate SAP and non-SAP systems, utilize BTP capabilities, and ensure efficient, automated delivery of solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services including Cloud Foundry, Kyma, CAP, and SAP HANA Cloud. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Node.js, JavaScript, Python, or ABAP on SAP BTP. - Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with backend systems via OData and REST APIs. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or SAP CI/CD. - Familiarity with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in automating builds, deployments, and testing processes. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for SAP environments. - Application of best practices for authentication, authorization, and secure coding on SAP BTP. - Management of roles and authorizations using SAP Identity Authentication and Identity Provisioning services. In addition to the above, you should have a strong understanding of REST/OData APIs, microservices architecture, Git-based workflows, and version control. Monitoring application performance using SAP BTP monitoring tools, optimizing scalability, and possessing good problem-solving and debugging skills are also crucial. Experience in the Life Sciences or Manufacturing industry with a strong business process know-how would be advantageous. **Preferred Qualifications:** - SAP BTP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate SAP BTP). - Experience with SAP Integration Suite and Event Mesh. - Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
