SAP BTP Developer (Node.js)

Role Summary :

Node.js and CAP

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy cloud applications on
SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry)
.
Build microservices and APIs using
SAP CAP (Node.js)
.
Develop
REST/OData services
and integrate with SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA).
Configure BTP services such as
XSUAA, Destinations, Connectivity, HANA Cloud, Workflow
.
Work with
HDI containers
, database artifacts, and schema modeling.
Optional: Develop UI using
SAP UI5/Fiori
.
Optional: Build integrations using
SAP Integration Suite / CPI
.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud applications.
Use
Git, CI/CD pipelines
, and cloud deployment workflows.
Collaborate with functional and integration teams for SAP extension use cases.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with
Node.js
development.
Expertise in
SAP BTP Cloud Foundry
.
Strong experience with
SAP CAP (Node.js)
.
REST & OData API development.
Experience with
XSUAA authentication, JWT, role management
.
Familiarity with
SAP HANA Cloud, HDI containers
.
Git, CI/CD, and DevOps basics.

Good-to-Have Skills
