SAP ABAP Developer Responsibilities & Desired Qualifications Core Duties & Responsibilities: Minimum of 3+ years in ABAP development, with strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP). Hands-on experience with SAP integration and enhancement tools such as: BAPIs, BADIs, ALE, RFCs, IDOCs, User Exits, Enhancements, Dynpro Strong familiarity with ECC environments and associated development functions. Proficient in technical change management tools and SAP development best practices. 2+ years of experience providing production support and resolving break/fix issues. Adept at interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to effectively engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Preferred / Stand-out Qualifications: Experience with SAP S/4HANA systems and related upgrade/migration efforts. Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori development and SAP Cloud Platform integration. Experience working with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData services. Solid understanding of SAP HANA database administration, including purging, archiving, and data management practices. Experience configuring and implementing system execution and quality monitoring tools. Exposure to public cloud environments such as AWS or Microsoft Azure. Integration experience with tools such as SAP BTP, PI/PO, RESTful APIs. Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience creating automated test scripts. Experience in Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies and full life cycle development processes.
