Job Title: SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) Consultant Location: [Bangalore location] Job Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes with a focus on product configuration , production planning , and order fulfillment . Create and maintain: Characteristics, classes, and classification hierarchies Configurable materials and configuration profiles Bills of material (BOM), routings, and object dependencies (rules, constraints, selection conditions) Variant tables, functions, and pricing models Perform functional and integration testing of Variant Configuration ( VC ) and SSC models. Translate existing VC data structures to AVC in SAP S/4HANA. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, sales, and procurement to ensure configuration requirements are met. Support documentation and training for new product models. Ensure system scalability and reliability in collaboration with IT and third-party vendors. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP VC or AVC modeling. Strong knowledge of SAP modules like SD , and their integration with VC. Experience with S/4HANA and Advanced Variant Configuration is highly preferred. Familiarity with object-oriented programming and relational databases is a plus.
