PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support: ( 40% of the time )
Expert in Expert in Demand and Supply Planning. With experience in Supply Network Planning and master and detailed scheduling.
- Responsible to research and resolve Demand and Supply Planning issues and request for multiple functional areas. Duties include:
- Respond to users and team member questions, analyze data, research and troubleshoot to resolve issues and identify root cause.
- Coordinate changes and approvals for globally shared master data with other markets.
- Troubleshoot CIF issues
- Demonstrate critical thinking abilities using troubleshooting skills including the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
- Provide a solution along with proper documentation to serve as a training tool for future issues.
- Guide users through the resolution of problems over phone, via e-mail and in person and recommend preventative actions
- Drive resolution and change through collaborations with various business areas, support teams and Information Technology teams.
- Lead meetings with business partners to drive results.
- Work critical incidents through resolution and provide timely updates to management and users.
- Provide 24/7 support on a scheduled rotational basis to ensure users have proper coverage for business critical issues.

- Accountable for timely and clear communications to users and business stakeholders:
- Ensure known problems, solutions, application outages/changes and time based activities are communicated.
Business Analysis: ( 35% of the time )
- Lead business initiatives through in depth analysis, using problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Lead support of system issues and implementations performing gap analysis and user acceptance testing for cross-stream initiatives.
- Diagnose problems, pursue opportunities for system redesign and drive improvements.
- Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.
- Develop, share, and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications and processes.
- Serves as the subject matter expert on the assigned functions to ensure operational performance.
Projects/Business Initiatives: ( 35% of the time )
Lead medium/large business initiatives while balancing existing workload.
- Work closely with the corporate planning and plant schedulers to identify and lead coordination DSP efforts across SAP APO and connected systems, including project scope definition, testing and validation across all functional streams.
- Use elements from the PM framework to initiate, plan, monitor, and control projects.
- Monitor and report on status and identify issues that inhibit project goals.
Lead Critical Incident Resolution: : ( 5% of the time )
Lead critical issues 24x7 for all functional areas.
- Communicate awareness and updates with management through resolution.
- Assist team members and ensure the proper communications are going to the users.
- Escalate as needed.
- Attend technical and market calls and post mortem meetings.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
Education: Any bachelors degree from an accredited University preferred.
Experience (Years/Type):
- 10+ years experience working with a CPG compamy in SAP as a Business Analyst or support role required.
- 5+ years' experience in leading medium sized projects/business initiatives using Project Management framework.
- Experince with supply network planning (SNP) or Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)
- 3+ years of experience with back-end integration of DSP solutions with an ERP platform
- 3+ years of experience working with and having functional knowledge of SAP APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization)
- Demonstrated experience with OMP planning software is highly preferred
- Good comprehension of IT concepts including batch jobs, IDOCS, configurations, and tables.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products: including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Power BI, and Teams is preferred.
