The Solution Architect role at our company involves being accountable for the design, integrity, and quality of the SAP solution and associated IS services provided to various business functions, support functions, and IS technology domains. Your responsibilities include ensuring that the SAP solution meets the functional requirements of the business, collaborating on project setup and delivery, and optimizing service operations. You will play a critical role in defining the technical SAP solution, aligning it with other modules and IS applications, and engaging in requirement engineering to determine necessary enhancements and workarounds. Collaborating with project owners, business functions, and IS stakeholders, you will validate and prioritize incoming business demands. Additionally, you will translate functional designs into specifications, oversee testing phases, manage transport requests, and ensure compliance with standards. As a Solution Architect, you will establish guidelines for technical solutions, address non-functional requirements, stay updated on new IS technologies and practices, and work closely with users to deploy efficient IS solutions. Your involvement will extend to providing advice on SAP installation, managing processes, and guiding project teams on utilizing IS standards effectively. Furthermore, you will collaborate with various IS architectural domains and enterprise technology IS architecture domains to achieve common goals. The role also entails ensuring compliance with regulations, contributing to a culture of safety and integrity, and upholding Hitachi Energy's core values. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, possess 5 to 7 years of IT industry experience with a focus on solution architecture, and have practical knowledge of integration software/tools like BizTalk and MuleSoft. Certification in S/4 HANA and SAP solutions, along with proficiency in SAP ABAP programming and SAP ALE-IDOC, is preferred. International work experience, especially in diverse cultures, is beneficial. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in implementing SAP best practices, bridging business and IT requirements, and leading virtual teams to deliver effective solutions. Proficiency in English is required, and the ability to adapt to new technologies, make informed decisions, drive innovation, and support change is essential.
