The SAP Basis Administrator is part of the SAP-certified Customer Center of Expertise and, together with the team, is responsible for the technological basis of all SAP installations operated by ERGO. This task is performed jointly with the infrastructure department, which carries out the operating system and hardware-related activities. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Planning and setting up new SAP installations Planning and updating existing SAP installations (e.g. stack upgrade, release upgrade) Setup and administration of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Setup of SAP systems after installation by I&O (transport system, authorisation system, monitoring, client control, RFC set-up, user set-up, ...) Creation of installation concepts for SAP frontend software Consulting for projects, architecture etc. Collaboration in SAP projects regarding the SAP basis and the SAP architecture Performing system and client copies Administration of SAP Basis authorisations Creation and updating of basic concepts and documentation (authorisation management, operational management, change management, ...)
