Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient SAP ABAP on HANA Lead Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on ABAP development experience, including at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation, where they played a senior developer or lead role. This position requires not only strong technical acumen but also the ability to lead, mentor, and train junior developers while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, performant SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities: ABAP Development on HANA: Perform strong hands-on ABAP development, leveraging the capabilities of SAP HANA. Develop and enhance ALV reports, Forms (SAP Script, Smartforms, and Adobe Forms), interfaces, and custom applications. Implement and develop using various enhancement techniques including User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Spots. Utilize Module Pool Programming for interactive application development. Apply Object-Oriented (OO) Programming principles extensively in development. Develop and implement Idocs, Proxies, and OData services for integration scenarios. Create and consume CDS (Core Data Services) Views for data modeling and reporting. Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Lead and train junior ABAP developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practice recommendations. Contribute to solution design and architectural discussions, ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and performance optimization for HANA. Troubleshooting & Support: Utilize excellent debugging skills for efficient troubleshooting and problem resolution in complex SAP environments. Provide support for system issues and enhancements through incident and change management processes. SAP S/4HANA Expertise: Demonstrate hands-on experience in at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation cycle as a senior developer or lead. Required Skills & Experience: Total & Relevant Experience: At least 8-10 years of strong hands-on experience in ABAP development. S/4HANA Experience: At least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation experience in a senior developer/lead capacity. Mandatory Skills: ABAP on HANA expertise. Proficiency in developing ALV reports, Forms (SAP Script, Smartforms, Adobe Forms). Experience with Interfaces, Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots), and Module Pool Programming. Strong Object-Oriented (OO) Programming skills. Excellent debugging skills and troubleshooting capabilities. Experience in implementing and developing Idocs, Proxies, and OData Services. Proficiency in creating and consuming CDS Views .
