Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying and resolving application issues
Develop technical specifications and convert business requirements into high-quality SAP ABAP solutions
Work on SAP Fiori and Gateway development, ensuring smooth system integration
Perform coding, debugging, unit/system/integration testing, and performance tuning
Conduct performance optimization and ensure system scalability, availability, and archiving as per SLA
Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and business analysts to deliver efficient SAP solutions
Provide on-call operational support and manage system changes effectively
Mentor and coach junior developers, ensuring knowledge-sharing and adoption of best practices
Follow Agile methodologies and manage tasks using the ServiceNow ticketing system

Educational Qualifications:

BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience:

Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori development (mandatory)

Required Skills:

Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills in SAP ABAP
Hands-on experience in SAP Gateway development and system integration
Strong communication, analytical, and technical documentation skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deliverables
Experience working in Agile environments and using ServiceNow for support

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the Retail industry
Familiarity with SAP HCP or Java development
