Sanskrit Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sanskrit Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit language, literature, and grammar, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the classical language among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons to students at various grade levels.
• Teach Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary, syntax, and classical texts (such as Subhashitas, Bhagavad Gita, Panchatantra, etc.).
• Develop lesson plans in accordance with curriculum standards and educational goals.
• Encourage active student participation and create a supportive learning environment.
• Prepare and administer assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and performance reports.
• Organize and participate in Sanskrit-related co-curricular activities such as debates, recitations, and cultural events.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administration.
• Stay updated with developments in Sanskrit education and implement best teaching practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sanskrit or a related field.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) preferred.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Sanskrit.
• Prior teaching experience in a school or academic setting is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for classical languages and Indian culture.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of traditional Indian scriptures and texts.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Fresher/Experience with CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum (as applicable).
• Enthusiastic and patient, with a passion for teaching and learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
