Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sanskrit Teacher to join our Phoenix International School team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students across appropriate grade levels, promoting language fluency, and fostering a deep understanding of Sanskrit literature and grammar.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons in accordance with the curriculum
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and class activities
Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
Promote cultural understanding and appreciation of Sanskrit language and heritage
Conduct oral and written assessments
Participate in school activities, parent-teacher meetings, and academic planning
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sanskrit or equivalent
B.Ed. preferred
Strong command of Sanskrit grammar and literature
Prior teaching experience is an advantage
Good communication and classroom management skills
