Role & responsibilities Design &Implementation Understand the customer requirement in terms of performance standards, timeline and budget for the product Define the design standards and obtain approval from the MD Review the detailed work plan with break-up of the design and manufacturing activities of the product and monitor the progress of work (Planned Vs. Achieved) on daily basis Drive the team to the new product development as per the organizations needs Drive the development of optimal design of the products with focus on cost, quality and energy efficient operations Review and monitor the preparation of detailed designs and drawings of Refrigeration Systems, Air Dryers, Aftercoolers, Compressed Air Filters, Filter elements, Accessories related to Compressed Air Systems, Chillers (Oil, Water and Air) and related accessories, Air Conditioning Systems for various applications etc. by the team Ensure the designs are as per the relevant codes, set standards and timelines Ensure timely development of prototypes and testing for compliance with all performance standards Revise and develop final drawings and BOM after the test results in the factory Define the manufacturing process by finalizing the die design, template design and the jigs and fixtures design for the manufacturing process Review and standardize the Bill of Materials for each product Ensure verification of the changes in the cost of the components in Bill of Material Update and amend the changes in cost in the Bill of Materials and forward the same to Commercial Department Analyze and evaluate quotations from vendors and obtain approval from the Top Management for finalizing the vendor Oversee the manufacturing of the product for final delivery to the customer Ensure the team provides technical support in commissioning and installation of the product at the customer site. Ensure adherence to the department budget. Drive continuous improvements in quality of designs; reduce failure rates, ensure manufacturability of designs. Identify current market trends, collect feedback from customers, service team and incorporate the same into future designs. Drive a culture of innovation in the department Quality Assurance Ensure timely development and modification of QAP(Quality Assurance Plan) as per the product and organization's need Coordinate and ensure timely approval of the QAP and Drawings from the Industrial Consultants based on the Project requirements Concept Selling Interact with the customer and identify the latent need of the customer Map the customers need with the innovative solutions that Sanpar can provide. Generate new potential opportunities for the organization by explaining the varied product benefits and USPs (Unique Selling Proposition) and create the need for the product Support Sales and Service Team Support the Sales and Customer support team in responding to customer enquires Review technical specification sheet, cost estimation and concept or schematic drawings whenever required and submit the same to sales support team. Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer - Sales with a focus on Industrial Capital Equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government projects, tenders, procurement, and e-procurement processes, coupled with excellent organizational and coordination skills. This role is primarily focused on the sales aspect of project handling, ensuring smooth communication and efficient management of projects from tender stage to customer approval. Key Responsibilities: Tender Management: Prepare and compile comprehensive tender documents in compliance with customer requirements. Ensure timely submission of tenders and related documents via government portals. Upload tender documents on relevant e-procurement platforms (Govt. portals, procurement websites, etc.) Project Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between customers and the internal team to ensure project details, timelines, and requirements are understood and met. Coordinate with customers to obtain necessary approvals, such as QAP (Quality Assurance Plan), QTP (Quality Test Plan), and other project documentation. Government Portals & Procurement Knowledge: Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant government procurement systems, portals, and tenders. Monitor government portals for updates on relevant tenders and procurement opportunities. Support the sales team by researching new government projects and responding to requests for quotations (RFQs). Sales Support & Documentation: Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for clients. Follow up with clients and ensure all aspects of the proposal, tender, and project are moving forward as scheduled. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their requirements and project needs. Provide ongoing support and updates to clients throughout the tender and project approval process. Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or related field). Strong knowledge and understanding of government procurement procedures, portals, and e-procurement systems. Familiarity with preparing and submitting tender documents. Experience in handling industrial capital equipment projects (sales-focused). Ability to communicate effectively with clients, government bodies, and internal teams. Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working on government projects and tenders. Experience with project management software and tendering tools. Understanding of the industrial capital equipment industry and related sales processes.
