Job Title: Plant Head Nutraceuticals Experience: 10 to 14 Years Location: Kerala, Bavla, Ahmedabad Industry: Nutraceuticals / Food & Beverages / Pharmaceuticals Reports To: Operations Director / Managing Director Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to oversee and manage end-to-end plant operations at our nutraceutical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to GMP, FSSAI, and global regulatory standards while optimizing productivity, quality, and safety across all departments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage day-to-day plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, EHS, and supply chain. Ensure timely production and dispatch of high-quality nutraceutical products as per demand plans. Monitor and optimize plant KPIs: OEE, yield, downtime, and cost-efficiency. Implement and maintain GMP, FSSAI, ISO, and other regulatory standards. Coordinate with R&D, procurement, and marketing to support new product development and product launches. Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Oversee preventive maintenance programs and utilities management. Lead a team of cross-functional professionals and build a high-performance culture. Handle audits (internal/external), including FDA, WHO-GMP, FSSAI, HACCP, etc. Budgeting, cost control, and resource optimization. Required Qualifications: B. tech/ B. pharm/ M. pharm in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Tech, or related field. 1014 years of experience in nutraceuticals / food / pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 35 years in a leadership/plant head role. Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, ISO standards. Proven experience in managing end-to-end plant operations. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Experience with herbal supplements, dietary powders, capsules, gummies, Sachets, powder or functional foods. Knowledge of automation and digital manufacturing tools (e.g., SAP, SCADA). Certification in Lean Six Sigma or TPM is a plus.
