In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements and creating test scenarios and test cases for automated systems. You will design, develop, and implement automation scripts using open source tools. Additionally, you will identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. Collaboration with software developers to ensure compatibility with system software is a key aspect of this role. It is essential to maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements in automation testing. Investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues, reviewing system logs, conducting post-release and post-implementation testing, and identifying and tracking software defects found during testing are also part of the responsibilities. Providing feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality is crucial for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in an IT Consulting or Quality Assurance/Testing role. Working knowledge of junit and jmeter is required. Creative problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, comfort with numerical data, and a high level of goal orientation are essential for success in this role.
