A bachelors degree in electrical & electronics engineering is a must. Having between 5 to 12 years of experience in 132kV and above substation. And familiar with following work. Protection Engineer for Substation who has experiences for the following works; 1. Review and Modification for schematic diagrams which shall be provided in Substation. 1) GIS/AIS Local Control Cabinet (LCC) 2) Control & Protection Panel 3) Tariff Metering Panel 4) Telecommunication System 5) Fault Recorder 6) LV AC/DC System including Battery, Charger & UPS 7) Others which are required to interface with CRP, SCS and Telecom 8) SCS Architecture 9) Telecom Network Architecture 10) Signal Lists 11) IO Mapping List and Data Display for LDC (NCC) 12) Cable schedule 13) Site Test Procedure and Site Test Form 2. Preparation for design and calculation for the below. 1) Key Single Line Diagram 2) Protection Single Line Diagram 3) Logic Diagram (e.g. Inter-lock, Inter-trip, etc ) 4) CT/VT Sizing Calculation 5) (Fixed/Variable) Relay Setting Calculation 3. Coordination work with other disciplines related with protection and SCS Added Advantage: 1. Experience with DEWA, FEWA, Transco, Saudi Electricity company (SEC), KAHRAMAA. OETC 2. Experience with site test and defective list clearing at site 3. Academic Background: - Bachelor or Higher of Electrical Eng. - Certifications(s) related to professional electrical PV (AC Side) Job Summary: Enacting Electrical System Concept & Design Criteria, Performing in Electrical Study & Equipment Sizing Calculation, Establishing Equipment List & Electrical Load List, Preparing Technical Specification & Equipment Supplier TBE, Creating Construction Process Drawing & Deliverables, Designing EHV Cable or Overhead Line, Communication & Security system, Taking-off Electrical Bill of Material etc. Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities: (a) Writing Electrical Engineering Standards, Preparing Electrical System Concept. (b) Reviewing System Study Report (Load Flow, Short Circuit Study, Reactive Power Capability Study, Relay Coordination etc. (c) Developing Single Line Diagram, Conducting Main Electrical Equipment Sizing Calculation (inc. Cable Sizing) (d) Forming Equipment List, Cable Schedules and interconnection wiring diagram. (e) Deep understanding IEC Standards and knowledge of Electrical Items. (f) Design and selection criteria for the DC, UPS, Lightings loads and Emergency generators. Experience: - Minimum 5 years in power plants or similar industrial plants Academic Background: (a) Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (b) Knowledge in Thermal and Combined cycle power plant (CCPP) (c) Familiarity with codes and standards related to power plant mechanical systems (d) Fluent in English Job Summary: Designing, maintaining and improving mechanical systems and equipment used in power generation which includes turbines, generators, boilers, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers and other related equipment Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities: (a) Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage the team and collaborate with other departments within the organization (b) Overall management skill for people, budgets, timelines and resources. (c) Review and analyse ITB/RFP for system design (d) Develop Design Criteria and General Technical Requirement (e) Perform engineering calculations to ensure system (Steam, Fuel Gas, Fuel Oil, Feed water. Condensate system, Plant water, compressed air, service gas) and equipment meet performance and safety requirement (f) Develop P&ID and Process Flow Diagram (Steam, Fuel Gas, Fuel Oil, Feed water. Condensate system, Plant water, compressed air, service gas) (g) Develop MR (Material Requisition) and TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation) sheet (h) Report Equipment Supplier's TBE based on Technical Specification submitted to the supplier (i) Review Vendor Document (j) Cooperate with other departments to ensure mechanical systems integrate seamlessly with other plant systems (k) Engineering support during construction and commissioning (l) Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures and develop solutions to minimize downtime.
