If you are seeking an opportunity in Analytical Engineering, Emerson presents a compelling opening for you. As a Senior Analytical Engineer based in India, you will be responsible for designing detailed technical solutions tailored to specific customer applications. This will include the design of sample handling systems, support structures, power distribution, signal distribution, gas distribution, and interconnecting devices. In this role, you will be expected to adhere to departmental and PMO processes, ensuring the timely delivery of technically complete designs that meet Emerson's quality standards. You will proficiently create electronic drafting files using AutoCAD for various drawings such as P&ID drawings, structural arrangement drawings, electrical diagrams, and fabrication drawings. Additionally, you will be responsible for specifying all purchased and fabricated components needed for building solutions, including analyzers, and collaborating closely with vendors and procurement teams. Customer engagement is a key aspect of this role, involving activities such as customer kick-off meetings, addressing customer queries, and resolving deviations from specifications. Effective communication with customers and suppliers on technical matters, including incorporating customer drawing comments and feedback, is essential. You will also be involved in performing Pre-FAT, FAT, and SAT, which may require travel to customer sites. To excel in this role, you should possess experience in Instrumentation and Process Engineering, as well as familiarity with various analyzers and associated components like samplers and dryers. Understanding hazardous area classification and applications for international installations is also crucial. A preferred qualification for this position includes a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Chemical with a minimum of 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
