M. Pharm (Pharmacology / Pharmaceutical Analysis) / M.Sc. (Biochemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry) with 0 -1 years experience. Roles & Responsibilities: Strong in basics of DMPK domain and principles of chromatography as well as sample processing Planning and Execution of in-vivo preclinical pharmacokinetic studies, in-vivo tissue distribution & mass balance studies in rodents. Well verse with extraction techniques of molecules from various matrices like plasma/urine/tissues Conduct Bioanalysis of samples from in-vivo pharmacokinetic, tissue distribution studies, PK-PD & TK studies through LCMS/MS are added advantage Knowledge of Phoenix WinNolin software will be added advantage Maintain accurate records of experiments and confidential information Understanding of systems and process pertaining to safety, health and environment. You will be responsible for adhering to the policy on proper dress code and Universal Precautions (PPE) at all times. It is essential to keep the department neat, clean, and well-stocked with supplies required for sample processing. You will be expected to be aware of and prepare the hypochlorite solution daily as per the lab safety policy. Proper segregation and safe disposal of biomedical waste are crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Recording and maintaining forms and records of the department and submitting them for verification will be part of your routine tasks. When processing COVID samples, you must strictly follow the established procedures and safety protocols. During shift changes, you will need to take over all duties and responsibilities from the previous technical team and check the handed-over register. Maintenance of UV usage of the room and instruments in the department will be under your purview. You will also perform overall sterility checks in the laboratory and report to the department In-Charge. Coordinating workflow and workload to ensure timely reporting of results is another important duty. You will be responsible for cleaning the workbench and providing maintenance for all equipment as per the recommended guidelines. Updating all basic documentation, such as forms and records, in the department is a key part of your role. Receiving and segregating samples for processing and performing QC checks during PCR assays and lot changes will also be part of your daily tasks. Ensuring the smooth flow of operations by maintaining stock in the department, checking pending samples in LIS, and releasing reports responsibly are essential responsibilities. Assisting in documentation for senior technicians, maintaining QMS documents, and reporting any non-conformance related to technical activities to the respective DIC are also crucial tasks. You will be required to handle and maintain equipment in the department during processing and be involved in corrective actions against any nonconformances observed. Maintaining patient confidentiality, participating in training and continual improvement programs, acting as an auditee during internal audits, and upholding work ethics and team building in the department are all part of your responsibilities. This is a full-time position with day shift, rotational shift, and weekend availability requirements.
