As a Manager, Technical Consulting at Salesforce Global Delivery Centre (GDC), you will play a crucial role in managing, training, and nurturing the careers of our technical consulting team. Your responsibilities will include people leadership, career coaching, and overseeing projects for the team. You will also be instrumental in building our Industries practice by leading internal initiatives, contributing to the technical practice business plan, developing methodology, enabling the team, onboarding new architects, and recruiting to expand the team. In this role, which is 50% billable, you will not only lead your team but also engage with customers and partners as a technical architect to address critical business challenges using Salesforce Industries Cloud. You will have up to 15 direct reports under your supervision, and you will be responsible for delivering technical work on Industries projects while also leading your team of Technical Consultants. Your duties will involve hiring, training, and mentoring the consultants to ensure successful implementation of solutions that meet customer needs. Moreover, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business value. You will lead internal critical initiatives to grow the Industries consulting practice, contribute to the community's knowledge base, and work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions. Additionally, you will lead Enterprise Architecture and Governance for enterprise-level customer engagements, establish trust with customers" leadership, and ensure the success of project teams while delivering optimized solutions. To qualify for this role, you should have 10-16 years of experience leading Salesforce technical consulting projects, 5+ years of people management experience, and expertise in Salesforce Industries Cloud, Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, and Vlocity OmniStudio. You must possess strong application design, data, integration, and security architecture skills, as well as proficiency in Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning, LWC, and modern web and mobile technologies. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications, OmniStudio Developer/Consultant certification, and exceptional communication and analytical skills.
