SalesForce QA - AVP

In this role of SalesForce QA - AVP at DWS Global Technology in Bangalore, India, you will be responsible for providing QA expertise for all levels of testing to the development scrum team for a given sprint/release. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to understand functional requirements and set development expectations. - Developing and executing test plans tailored to Salesforce-specific functionalities using Flows, Triggers, Apex Jobs, and others. - Performing other testing-related tasks as required, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Partnering with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business processes, software implementation, and testing requirements. - Clearly communicating testing progress, challenges, and resolutions to stakeholders in a timely manner. - Working with Agile development methodologies. - Monitoring, maintaining, and enforcing quality metrics. - Collaborating with the team to improve documentation and testing processes. - Staying updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices related to QA. To excel in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Math, or a related Engineering field, or equivalent industry experience. - 2-5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Salesforce applications preferred. - Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java. - Strong foundation in Apex and familiarity with Salesforce-specific metadata (e.g., Flows, Triggers) and Apex Jobs. - Experience in Salesforce query languages (SOQL and SOSL) and API technologies (SOAP and REST). - Knowledge of Salesforce development tools and ecosystems, including Lightning Web Components and Aura.
