Role

As part of continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Salesforce Field service Consultant to join our growing international team, supporting our UK consultancy and customers from our Pune base.

Partnering with our UK based Summit level Salesforce teams you will deliver best in class Salesforce Field Service (FSL) implementations, enhancements, and support, acting as the bridge between business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring solutions are aligned with best practice and project objectives.

What do we need from you

As an Alscient Salesforce Field Service Consultant we expect you to hit the ground running, you will be a self-motivated, excellent communicator, with technical Field Service experience supported by relevant certifications.

We want our Salesforce Field Service Consultants to be hands-on and able to make an immediate impact providing solution input when required, comfortable following design documents and able to support on a variety of customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead or contribute to end-to-end delivery of Salesforce Field Service implementations for UK clients.
  • Conduct discovery workshops, gather business requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure and customise Salesforce Field Service (FSL), including:
  • Work types, service territories, operating hours.
  • Resource and crew management.
  • Scheduling policies and optimization
  • Service appointments and work orders.
  • Mobile app configuration
  • Integrate FSL with other Salesforce clouds and external systems where required.
  • Create process flows, solution designs, and documentation in line with project governance.
  • Support data migration and testing activities.
  • Provide user training and post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with onshore UK consultants, developers, and project managers.

You will have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations of Salesforce Field Service (FSL).
  • Proven technical platform experience supported by Salesforce certifications in Field Service, Service

    Cloud, Platform Developer with other specialist certifications an advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of FSL data model and key features.
  • Strong configuration skills in Salesforce core platform (Service Cloud).
  • Experience with Service Appointment Scheduling and Optimization Engines.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce mobile solutions, especially FSL mobile app setup and usage.
  • Ability to create and manage flows, validation rules, process builder, and Lightning App Builder.
  • Good understanding of integration concepts (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) to engage with UK stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Apex with hands on experience of creating triggers, and batch Apex.
  • Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models and time zone alignment.
  • Experience and knowledge of AWS as well as Jira and Confluence tools would be advantageous.
