You have a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Salesforce DevOps/Deployment Specialist with 5+ years of experience in Bengaluru. In this role, you will take ownership of the release process and drive continuous improvement by documenting release issues and developing plans to enhance the process or implement automation. Your responsibilities will include ensuring seamless movement of Salesforce updates from development through staging to production and performing the sync-down process. Your expertise in Salesforce administration is crucial, including proficiency in managing custom objects, sharing settings, profiles, role hierarchies, Salesforce Shield, and GDPR compliance for secure system management. Additionally, you will need to maintain solutions for operational administration in Salesforce, such as Metadata/Data backup & Recovery, Security/Performance Monitoring. Your role will also involve utilizing Salesforce reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools for effective decision-making. To excel in this position, you must have hands-on experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using tools like Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, or Copado. A strong understanding of Salesforce metadata API, Scratch Orgs, change sets, ANT, and SFDX is essential. Knowledge of version control systems like Git/BitBucket, branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow), Salesforce integration patterns, REST APIs, and middleware tools is also required. You will be responsible for implementing scalable solutions, including continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management, and supporting the end-to-end release process. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce apps. You will also create SFDX projects in Azure repos, automate releases in ADO for deployment in various orgs simultaneously, and sync lower branches with the latest code base. Your role will encompass implementing GIT branching strategies using VS code integrated with the Salesforce CLI tool, monitoring and improving DevOps processes, environment provisioning, sandbox management, data management, and identifying opportunities to automate recurring activities in Azure DevOps. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential for resolving deployment and release-related issues effectively.
