RISHABH INSTRUMENTS LIMITED Job Description PositionTitle: Area Sales Manager, Location: Pune Department: National Sales Experience: 08 yrs to 15 years Qualification: Diploma or BE in Electrical / ENTC / Electronics stream with relevant experiene of 8+ years in electrical product sales only need to apply . MBA in Marketing preferred KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE (AT ORGANIZATION LEVEL) To ensure business growth at area level in sync with regional/ organization growth targets in terms of business volume & receivables management MAJOR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieving business volume (Order value) monthly , quarterly and yearly basis for the Area-sub region. Receivables management - payment collection. Overall customer, consultant and dealer management in the territory. Establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base. Ensuring marketing activities like seminars, road shows etc. in the region. Support in the detailed sales plan to achieve revenue objectives (Business volume). Maintain and submit monthly forecast and sales pipeline. Develop and maintain close working relationships with appropriate internal and external resources and partners. Active participation in account planning activities. Represent organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. Understand and appropriately leverage sales and support resources. Work to increase awareness and interest of our solutions in assigned territory or accounts. Maintain knowledge on road maps, competition, pricing, market share, and product differentiation. Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market. Setting sales targets for individual reps and team as a whole. Developing sales strategies and setting targets for sub region/areas. Monitoring your team's performance and motivating them to reach targets. Compiling and analysing sales figures. Dealing with some major customer accounts yourself. Collecting customer feedback and market research.
