Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Manager for the Power Transformer Division, you will be responsible for achieving sales and collection targets, generating leads, building and maintaining relationships with customers, ensuring timely execution of orders, and providing excellent customer service. Your role will also involve staying updated with market trends, conducting sales presentations, and supporting the Planning and Execution Department for timely dispatch of finished goods. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve sales targets and collection targets as per the plan - Generate leads through cold calls and multiple channels - Build and maintain relationships with large customers in the region - Document customer specifications and communicate changes in order specifications - Liaise with the Project Management Cell for order execution - Log and update all customer interaction activities in appropriate systems - Provide timely responses to customer queries and issues - Stay updated with regional developments and provide data to the marketing team - Distribute informative product catalogues to key decision makers - Conduct sales presentations to key decision makers in SEBs and Industrial Groups - Undertake pre-qualification work with high volume customers - Support the Planning and Execution Department for timely dispatch of finished goods - Ensure timely collections from customers through regular follow-ups Qualification Required: - Electrical Degree/Diploma Additional Details: The company's Transformers division offers a wide range of products including Power Transformers up to 200 MVA and 400 kV, Generator Transformers, Unit Auxiliary Transformers, and Special Application Transformers. The ideal candidate for this role should have front line experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in a tendering-oriented business, with exposure to Power Transformers sales or similar equipment. Technical orientation for selling capital goods products and the ability to travel extensively are also essential for this position.
