1. Job Purpose

To generate new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, and drive sales of Diesel Generator (DG) sets and associated power solutions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their power requirements, presenting suitable DG solutions, and achieving assigned sales targets.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Sales & Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for DG sets.
• Generate leads through market visits, references, telecalling, and networking.
• Promote DG sets across industrial, commercial, institutional, infrastructure, and construction sectors.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

B. Customer Relationship Management

• Visit prospective and existing customers to understand their power requirements.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Understand customer requirements regarding DG capacity, application, budget, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with customers for quotations, negotiations, and order closure.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of sales-related queries.

C. Technical & Commercial Coordination

• Understand DG set specifications, including KVA ratings, engines, alternators, control panels, and accessories.
• Coordinate with the technical team for DG selection and customized solutions.
• Prepare and submit commercial quotations and proposals.
• Follow up on pending quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
• Coordinate with the execution and service teams for smooth delivery and installation.

D. Market Research & Reporting

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
• Identify potential markets, dealers, contractors, consultants, and business partners.
• Maintain daily sales reports, customer databases, and enquiry records.
• Provide regular updates on sales performance and business development activities.

3. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; BBA/MBA in Marketing or Sales preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in DG set sales, power equipment, electrical equipment, or industrial sales preferred.
• Basic technical knowledge of Diesel Generator sets and power solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong customer relationship and business development abilities.
• Target-oriented with a proactive approach.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and market development.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
