About the role

We are hiring a Sales Executive to handle travel enquiries, convert them into bookings, and keep the itineraries on our website accurate and up to date. This role suits someone with basic sales experience who is comfortable working with simple website tools.

Key responsibilities

- Handle incoming enquiries from customers by phone, WhatsApp and email

- Understand each customer's travel dates, budget and destination preferences

- Explain and recommend suitable domestic and international holiday packages

- Prepare and share quotes, and follow up until the booking is confirmed

- Update and maintain tour itineraries and package details on the GoYourTrip website

- Keep lead and follow-up records and coordinate with the operations team

- Work towards monthly sales targets

Requirements

- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales or customer handling (travel or tourism experience is a plus)

- Basic sales knowledge: lead follow-up, quotations and closing enquiries

- Able to update itineraries and content on a website (basic computer skills and attention to detail are enough; training can be given for our system)

- Good communication in Hindi and English

- Comfortable with calling and WhatsApp follow-ups

- Basic knowledge of popular Indian and international destinations is helpful
