Job Description

Position Overview

Sales Executive General Trade (ROTN Market)

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Distribution

  • Achieve sales targets for packaged drinking water across ROTN territories.
  • Drive both

    primary and secondary sales

    through distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
  • Expand retail coverage by onboarding new shops, mini-markets, and general stores.

Market Expansion & Visibility

  • Penetrate semi-urban and rural markets across ROTN.
  • Ensure proper product placement, brand visibility, and stock availability in outlets.
  • Execute trade promotions, schemes, and market activation campaigns to boost sales.

Channel Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, stockists, and retailers.
  • Ensure smooth order booking, timely delivery, and inventory management in the assigned area.
  • Support channel partners with schemes, offers, and promotional activities.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies in the ROTN market.
  • Provide regular feedback on customer preferences, seasonal demand, and market challenges.
  • Share actionable insights with the Sales Manager for business planning.

Collections & Reporting

  • Collect payments from distributors and retailers within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movement, collections, and outlet coverage.
  • Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales performance and market feedback.

Customer Engagement

  • Conduct product sampling and awareness campaigns to drive adoption among consumers.
  • Resolve retailer queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build loyalty and retention programs for retailers to strengthen relationships.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum: Graduate preferred.
  • 7- 10 years of experience in

    FMCG / Beverages / Packaged Drinking Water

    sales (General Trade).
