Job Description

You will be a part of the Project Sales A1 department and report to the Sales Manager or Sales Head. As a candidate, you should hold a BE degree in any stream and possess a minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant experience. This position is based in Delhi & Gujarat, specifically in Baroda or Ahmedabad. Your main responsibilities will include creating and implementing sales strategies for products within specific sectors and regions. You will be required to identify and convert leads into potential enquiries, visit prospective clients to understand their needs, and engage in techno-commercial discussions to finalize orders. It is essential to maintain customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle and ensure smooth transfer of orders to the project department. Key interfaces for this role include internal departments such as Finance, Projects, Pre-project, Sales Manager, Sales Head, and Directors, as well as external stakeholders like Customers, Consultants, OEM, and Vendors. Your performance will be measured based on targeted vs. actual order bookings, acquisition of new customers, orders from new regions, and penetration into targeted sectors. To excel in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of the product range, good commercial acumen, and expertise in market research, data analysis, and relationship building. Proficiency in dairy, fruits & vegetables, food processing manufacturing equipment & processes is crucial. Your communication, presentation, market research, data analysis, and negotiation skills will be key to your success. The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility, openness, relationship-building skills, and a collaborative attitude. It is important to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 requirements, incident reporting, environmental aspects identification, legal compliance, and risk management.
