You will be responsible for developing new business and achieving all revenue targets. This includes generating new business leads, setting appointments with customers in transportation, warehousing, imports, and exports, and making sales presentations to prospective clients. You will need to strengthen the sales pipeline and ensure the achievement of top-line business by acquiring new customers. Additionally, you will be monitoring the delivery function, coordinating with delivery teams for various requirements, and assisting clients in query resolution. In this role, you will provide quotes for current and prospective clients, identify new markets and growth opportunities as determined by the company, and standardize sales rate approvals and agreement processes. You will also strategize and provide inputs on developing new products based on specific business/customer requirements and monitor and review the closure of issues faced by new customers. Frequent visits to client locations will be required to maintain strong relationships and address any concerns. The ideal candidate for this position must be a graduate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics B2B sales. You should be self-motivated, confident, and possess strong interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is crucial. Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to negotiate rates, sell services, and build professional relationships, are essential. Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem-solving, and decision-making skills are also required.
