Familiarity with QA automation tools and frameworks, as well as tools like Jira, Zephyr, and Selenium, is beneficial. Salesforce certifications and awareness of different types of testing are considered a plus. Furthermore, you should possess competencies such as the ability to work in a start-up-like culture, adapt to shifting priorities, and complete projects successfully while maintaining sensitivity to political issues. Being persuasive, encouraging, motivating, and having excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills are important traits, along with flexibility during times of change and the ability to understand different communication styles of team members and contractors from various disciplines.
