With a strong presence in the playing card industry, we cater to wholesalers, semi-wholesalers, retailers and recreational clubs.

As we continue to expand our business, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Executive to join our Sales & Business Development team.

About the Role

The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building customer relationships and expanding the company's market presence.

The role involves interacting with customers, understanding their requirements, presenting our product portfolio, gathering market intelligence and converting business enquiries into long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

• Identify potential customers and new business opportunities.
• Develop relationships with wholesalers, semi-wholesalers and retailers.
• Explore opportunities in recreational clubs, card rooms and leisure centres.
• Introduce and promote the company's playing card product portfolio.
• Follow up with prospective customers and convert enquiries into orders.

2. Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Handle customer enquiries and coordinate with internal departments.
• Maintain regular communication with customers.
• Support customers with order-related queries and post-delivery coordination.

3. Market Research & Intelligence

• Understand market trends, customer preferences and product demand.
• Gather information about competitor products, pricing and promotional schemes.
• Maintain an updated database of customers and business prospects.
• Identify opportunities to improve the company's market presence.

4. Sales Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain customer information and sales-related data.
• Prepare regular reports on customer interactions and business opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Sales Manager on sales strategies and market developments.
• Participate in sales meetings and business planning discussions.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline. Business, Marketing or Commerce preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in sales or business development.
• Fresh graduates with good communication skills are welcome.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of English and regional languages, preferably Kannada.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office, Excel or Google Sheets.
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in FMCG, stationery, consumer goods, retail or distribution will be an advantage.
• Candidates with existing business contacts in wholesale or retail markets will be preferred.
• A positive attitude, confidence and willingness to learn.
