Job Description: As an Air Ticketing Executive, your primary responsibility is to assist customers with their travel plans by booking flights, issuing tickets, and providing information on flight schedules, fares, and routes. You will be the main point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Flight Booking: Utilize airline reservation systems to book flights for customers according to their preferences and requirements. Ticket Issuance: Issue tickets accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is provided to the customer. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering assistance with travel-related concerns such as baggage allowance, seat selection, and special requests. Flight Information: Stay up-to-date with flight schedules, fares, and route information to provide accurate and relevant information to customers. Payment Processing: Process payments for ticket bookings, handle refunds or cancellations, and ensure compliance with payment procedures and policies. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of bookings, transactions, and customer interactions in the reservation system. Communication: Communicate effectively with customers through various channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions to ensure a seamless booking experience. Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively, striving to achieve customer satisfaction and retention. Coordination: Collaborate with other departments such as sales, operations, and finance to ensure smooth coordination of travel services. Adherence to Regulations: Ensure compliance with airline regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all aspects of ticketing and customer service. Skills and Qualifications: Must know how to use Galileo Software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using airline reservation systems and ticketing software. Knowledge of airline policies, procedures, and regulations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Customer-focused approach with a passion for providing exceptional service. Prior experience in the travel industry or airline ticketing is preferred but not required. Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma; additional certification in travel and tourism is a plus. Role & responsibilities Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc. Diagnose the clients specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc. Supply travellers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday material (guides, maps, event programs etc) Collect deposits and balances Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends Create and update electronic records of clients Maintain relationships with key persons Keep financial statements and documents Reach the revenue and profit targets Requirements and skills Proven working experience as a Travel Consultant Excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel) Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage Exemplary sales skills and customer-oriented approach Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc) Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively Demonstrable ability to handle crises Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism Business or relevant field Contact - Yesha Parekh (HR) 9512917163
