You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations and basic coordination for the rooms division, primarily focusing on Front Office operations. Your main duties will include managing the operations of the hotel during allocated duty management shifts, assisting all departments as needed, and supervising and controlling the Front Office staff while coordinating with the team to resolve any customer complaints. Additionally, you will handle the safety and security of the hotel during emergency events and evacuations, manage operational meetings, supervise the hotel staff, and ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will also be responsible for tasks such as reconciling front office income, managing public areas" appearance, and verifying reports daily. Furthermore, your role will involve managing the division's profitability without compromising on standards or guest comfort, assisting the Front Office Manager in daily operations, and developing learning opportunities for subordinates. You will drive change management within the rooms division, conduct and facilitate trainings, and ensure that all front office operations meet brand standards and guidelines. In addition to these responsibilities, you will assist in developing and managing the Front Office annual budget, business/marketing plan, and forecasts. You will lead the Front Office associates, work closely with Revenue Management and Reservation departments, and provide support to the Front Office Manager and General Manager to meet the establishment's strategic goals. You will also be involved in managing expenses, maintaining high visibility during peak periods, handling guest complaints empathetically, and participating in revenue meetings. In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager, you will manage and support the Housekeeping Department. This is a full-time position with benefits such as provided food and health insurance.
