Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. 2. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. 3. Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. 4. Provide training and awareness programs for employees on health and safety procedures, emergency response, and first aid. 5. Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety-first culture and encourage employee participation in health and safety initiatives. 6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001). 7. Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and training. Skills Required: 1. Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices. 2. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial operations . 3. Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures. 4. Effective communication, interpersonal, and training sk ills. 5. Analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate incidents and implement corrective actions. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software (e.g., SAP, Safety Sync). 8. Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is desirable.
