Key Responsibilities: Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on Fire prevention and control, Industrial safety standards, Occupational health and safety, Hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA), First aid, emergency response, and disaster management, Safety audits and inspection procedures Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and training materials in line with academic or industry standards. Prepare and administer assignments, assessments, and examinations. Guide and mentor students on project work, internships, and career paths. Stay updated with the latest safety regulations, firefighting technologies, and industry practices. Conduct mock drills, safety awareness programs, and workshops. Maintain lab and training equipment and ensure safety compliance during practical sessions. Collaborate with industry professionals and participate in academic-industry interface programs. Contribute to research and publication in the field of fire and safety (optional for senior faculty). Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fire and Safety Engineering / Industrial Safety / Occupational Health and Safety / related discipline. Diploma in Fire and Safety may be accepted for certain positions with sufficient experience.
