As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of a hospital facility, focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems as well as Civil works. Your main goal will be to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets the required quality and safety standards. You will lead and manage the construction process, coordinating activities related to MEP and Civil works to align with project timelines, quality standards, and budget. Collaboration with project stakeholders, architects, engineers, and subcontractors is essential to integrate MEP systems with civil works. Developing and reviewing project schedules, timelines, and progress reports will be crucial for smooth coordination between MEP and Civil teams. Your role will involve overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications. Supervising site activities for both civil works and MEP installation, including subcontractors and construction teams, will be part of your responsibilities. Monitoring the progress of MEP and Civil work to address any issues or delays promptly is also key. Quality and safety control will be a significant aspect of your job, ensuring that construction work meets required standards and specifications for MEP systems and civil structures. Regular quality inspections and adherence to safety guidelines are necessary to identify and mitigate potential risks to the project's progress. Managing the project budget for MEP and Civil works will be crucial to ensure expenses remain within approved limits. Evaluating and approving material and labor costs to find cost-effective solutions without compromising quality is essential. Providing regular updates on project progress to senior management and key stakeholders, facilitating communication between internal teams, contractors, and suppliers, and addressing technical or logistical issues promptly are all part of your role. You must ensure all construction activities comply with legal, environmental, and safety regulations. Maintaining detailed records of construction activities, including contracts, progress reports, and change orders, and reviewing and managing project documentation related to MEP and Civil works are also important tasks. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or a related field) and a minimum of [X] years of experience in managing large-scale hospital construction projects, specifically focusing on MEP and Civil works. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, MEP systems, civil works, and building codes/regulations, as well as project management skills, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills are essential. Possessing certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar is preferred. Desired Profile: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Diploma holders with strong experience may also be considered. Experience: 10–15 years of hands-on experience in project execution for residential and commercial real estate developments. Skills & Competencies: Strong site management and execution capability. Expertise in construction techniques, material management, contractor supervision, and safety compliance. Working knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD, and site reporting tools. Excellent communication and team coordination skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Project/Site HSE plans and procedures are properly implemented during operations. You will report any HSE issues to the Field HSE Manager or site manager and continuously liaise with the workforce and supervision on HSE matters. Your tasks will include conducting internal HSE inspections, delivering HSE induction and training, and supervising the implementation of HSE procedures at the operative sites. It will be your responsibility to ensure the effective implementation of Life Saving Rules and promote safe operative techniques and methodologies for safety control. Additionally, you will be required to inspect subcontractors" activities, control compliance of the equipment used on site, and monitor the implementation of the Permit to Work system.
