RESPONSABILITIES 1. Create functional safety goals and cascade requirements in adherence to ISO 26262 2. Develop safety related documentation including safety plan, safety case, item definitions, HARAs, FTAs, DFMEAs and similar 3. Ensure all safety related requirements are defined, complete and traceable through to verification and validation 4. Work with independent reviewers to audit and ensure functional safety compliance 5. General Duties 6. A good understanding of electric drivetrain architectures and familiarity with different types of components such as batteries, motors, power electronics Desirable Confidential -C2- Internal 1. Working understanding of hydrogen fuel cell and battery electric vehicles such as types of hazards Skills & Experience 1. Engineering experience throughout an entire product lifecycle minimum 5 years 2. Significant experience of ISO 26262 preferably within an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier 3. Good data presentation skills (reporting and documentation) 4. Well organized, comfortable following process and excellent attention to detail Desirable 1. Experience in other functional safety standards for non-automotive applications e.g. ISO 50657 2. Knowledge and experience of failure mode avoidance processes including DFMEAs and Fault Tree Analysis throughout the product engineering lifecycle, from concept to production 3. Experience in using requirements management systems such as DOORS or Codebeamer, similar 4. Prior use of software tools designed for functional safety such as Ansys Medini Analyze 5. Experience assessing and understanding system models e.g. SysML or RAAML in tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, IBM Rhapsody 6. Experience in software quality and process e.g. ASPICE 7. Competencies Core Experience 5+ years of experiencein Functional Safety in EV Powertrain system Proven track record in executingcomplete safety lifecycleactivities as per ISO 26262. Technical Expertise Strong command over: HARA,FSC,FSR,TSR,TSC FMEA,FMEDA,DFA,FTA Safety Case,Safety Plan, andin-vehicle testing Experience withMIL, HIL, and PIL testingenvironments. Process Knowledge Familiarity withASPICE,V-model, andsystem/software development processes. Ability to translate safety concepts intosoftware and hardware implementations. Tools and Methodologies Hands-on experience with tools for safety analysis and requirement management. Exposure torequirements and change management systems. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Minimum Requirements : BE (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automotive Systems) Minimum 7+ Years of experience in the following Good understanding in ISO26262 standards, especially Part 3 & Part 4 System & Concept Phase.
