Company Description Safe Schools is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping schools and learning spaces meet safeguarding standards holistically. By understanding the specific needs of each school and its stakeholders, we create customized action plans to ensure the safety and well-being of students. We work with teachers, students, and communities to build awareness, develop skills, and foster mindsets conducive to child safety. Our goal is to create supportive environments that prioritize the safeguarding of every student. Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for an Intern in the Founder's Office at Safe Schools. The intern will assist in various tasks including research, data collection, and analysis, supporting the development of safeguarding strategies, preparing reports, and coordinating with different departments. The intern will also help in organizing meetings, handling communications, and contributing to the implementation of various child safety initiatives. Qualifications Research, Data Collection, and Analysis skills Effective Communication and Coordination skills Report Preparation and Presentation skills Organizational and Time Management skills Passion for child safety and well-being Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google suite Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field such as Education, Social Work, or Non-Profit Management
