We are seeking a design intern who is enthusiastic about handmade materials and has a passion for lighting design. The ideal candidate should be interested in working with materials such as terracotta, stoneware, sabai grass, bamboo, cane, and natural fibers. They should be excited about designing a variety of lighting products, ranging from table and floor lamps to ambient wall sconces. The intern should be willing to travel to artisan clusters for sampling and follow-ups. Additionally, they should be comfortable working hands-on with clay, fibers, and weaving in a non-AC, open studio space. The ability to sketch ideas, whether by hand or digitally, is essential. Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Rhino, or 3D software would be a bonus. This is a 2-month internship with a paid stipend, located in Bhubaneswar (On-site only).
